Gujarat is more advanced in Animal Huabandry sector in India,our Cattle ,buffaloes breed very much productive and in milk production they contribute major ,other domestic products like- eggs, wool, and the milk products (ghee) production ,butter,worldwide remain in top in export among Agricutuure oriented nations.
Health care ,Krishi mahostav,and selection of indegeous Cow breeds, like Gir,Kankrej breeds and poultry too are the main criteria in Animal husbandry practicesis being pushed up by Govett of Gujarat( CM NarendraModi saheb)
Monitering,and implementing schematic activities to root lavel by Govt,Dairy and N.G.O also contributed sucessfully.Gujarat is having Veterinary ,Agriculture and Dairy colleges with update lab,research,and DNA banks to protect the pure breeds of Famous breeds.The Lord Krishna also selected Gujarat for his 9 lacs Cow heard due to land of Fodder Saurastra rich in nutrious elements of Soil.
